An Old Life Goes Dark: Astrology Forecast October 2nd – 9th, 2022
What to expect this week?
By Lorna Bevan | Guest Writer
”Change-a deep and sometimes painful realisation that the previous You didn’t make it but the current You survived.” – Andrea Balt
This week begins with Mercury turning Direct at 24 Virgo on Sunday 2nd and ends with Pluto stationing Direct at 26 Capricorn on Saturday 8th.
The Great Eliminator is at his most impactful between 6-9th October leading up to the Aries Full Moon, preparing to activate the final 4 degrees of the Capricorn before entering Aquarius in March 2023 for the first time since 1778-1798.
Expect the flux and volatility of the financial markets and hybrid warfare to increase. All of this can seem very unsettling; it’s only with hindsight that you can appreciate Pluto’s work – the Great Eliminator never tears down anything which it doesn’t then replace with something better.
Find where 26-30 Capricorn is in your chart-that area of life is going to be tested for resilience during the next 6 months.
Since the Saturn/Pluto Conjunction in January 2020:
Who or what has been removed from your life?
What you have had to come to terms with?
Which changes beyond your control turned out to be beneficial in the end?
It’s time to practice acceptance of what is going on around you. The more you resist the inevitable changes which are coming, the more painful the journey will be.

“Seeing lucidly where we are going, where we are coming from and why. Almost riveted to the spot at what is seen and what is revealed. Driven by purpose, meaning, value. Caught in a paradox. Do we go higher or deeper, forward or backward, and can we really sense which is which? Can we differentiate between what offers us a progressive greater path through and beyond and that which keeps us in the old karmic places a good long while? If we cannot, then it will turn out that those ancient places will light up afresh, and provide the key to the journey until they are worked through completely.” – Inside Degrees Elias Lonsdale
