An Invisible Fog – Astrology Forecast October 30th – November 6th

What to expect this week?

By Lorna Bevan | Guest Writer

A heads up. We are in the seismic bardo period between 2 eclipses-the Solar Eclipse at 2 Scorpio on October 25th and the approaching Total Blood Moon Lunar eclipse at 16 Taurus on October 8th. Expect sudden sideways jolts as eclipse effects/events continue to ripple through the timeline for 6 months after the exact dates.

Adding to the flux and churn, Mars turns Retrograde at 25° Gemini on Sunday October 30 to January 12 2023 for the first time in 2 years. Warrior Mars entered Gemini on August 21st and will stay for an unprecedented 7 months until March 26th 2023.

Mars Max is Out of Bounds (OOB) the entire time. OOB means that the planet is outside the ecliptic, which is the Sun’s apparent path around the Earth, running from 23.4 degrees North and South. It’s definitely a double whammy when it falls during the Mars retrograde cycle. Planets that are OOB tend to express themselves in more unusual, odd, irrational or inappropriate ways. So, when a planet is both retrograde and OOB, as Mars will be for the last part of 2022, we are more likely to see strange or inexplicable manifestations of this energy.

Things are even more complicated with this Mars retrograde given that is square slippery Neptune in Pisces. Think of it as driving through a thick invisible fog, where nothing is at as it seems, things are concealed and delusions and conspiracy theories get even weirder and more dangerous.

  • be extremely careful who and what you believe as false flag events and fake agendas distort reality

A Cave in Deep Ocean Waters

“We go back and forward, we go way deep in. What we find in each time and place is what we put there. The markers, the signs, the cues. We made sure before, we will make sure again to help the present time soul to remember, to come out of the nightmare, to recognise what is really happening here. We may not like it very much, but we are fortunate to inherit and be able to look forward to an attunement within a realm far beyond the world of today. This spreads out far, makes every diversion empty. Yet it also primes us to take seriously something which keeps coming up and saying: Don’t you remember? Haven’t you seen it yet? Suddenly you are paying attention to that irreversible vision that is flying at you with your name on it.” – Inside Degrees Elias Lonsdale

Astrology Forecast October 30th – November 6th

Aries Weekly Forecast: October 30-November 6, 2022

As an Aries, Warrior Mars is your personal planet so, as he slows to turn retrograde on the 30th until mid-January, you’ll definitely feel the change in pace. Be careful in your everyday dealings, conversations and transactions as everything will take longer than usual, involving backtracking, repetition and glitches. It’s nobody’s fault-we’re all turning our energy inward for a while to assess where we’ve got to. Manage your impatience and notice how you are beginning to sift through old beliefs you’ve held for a long time, deleting many you thought were part of who you were.

Which pathways are closing to you now?

Taurus Weekly Forecast: October 30-November 6, 2022

As Mars turns backwards until mid-January 2023, the increased flow of income and outgoings you’ve experienced since the Taurus eclipses in April and May will stop, as if a tap has been turned off. This retrograde is giving you the chance to assess what is really important to you and to think carefully about how you can start now to build financial security for the future. Make a list of your top priorities, reduce spending and find ways to make what you have go further. The more you appreciate what you already have, the happier you will be.

Orient your life around experiences instead of things.

Gemini Weekly Forecast: October 30-November 6, 2022

As Mars turns retrograde in your own sign on October 30th for 10 weeks, your energy will turn inwards. With foggy Neptune in the frame, everything may seem even more confusing, disorientating or unreliable than usual-so be it. Trust your instincts when they nudge you to withdraw from some of your outer activities for a while and give yourself time and space to process your inner world. Running its program quietly in the background, your unconscious mind has been discarding many of your old hopes, dreams and goals. It’s time to recognise what’s gone and what’s emerging instead.

Slow right down to soul speed.

Cancer Weekly Forecast: October 30-November 6, 2022

For the next few weeks, as energy planet Mars turns retrograde, your thoughts and emotions focus inwards. The more you can find quiet time and private space, the more fulfilled you will feel. As the outwards facing demands of the world recede a little, feelings you’ve repressed for a long time may surface in search of acknowledgment. Rather than pushing them away again, just sit with old resentments, anger, sadness or loss and allow yourself to feel them. When you open to the truth of their messages, they will fade.

As Rumi puts it: ”The wound is the place where the light enters you.”

Leo Weekly Forecast: October 30-November 6, 2022

During the Mars retrograde between October 30th and January 12th 2023, initiating new projects is a no-no, unless you really want to be blocked at every turn. Far better to collaborate with this inward energy to evaluate whether the goals and dreams you’ve been working towards still hold juice. This is about matching your outsides to your insides and catching up with the part of you that knows better than you do. Retrace your path in your mind to recover memories of old alliances and friendships that have dropped by the wayside. What did you lose by leaving them behind?

Memories, dreams and reflections.

Virgo Weekly Forecast: October 30-November 6, 2022

Most people feel frustrated when cycles switch from action to reflection but as a Virgo you intuitively grasp the flow of time and how vital the alternating Yin and Yang is for our balance. On October 30th, Mars turns backwards at the top of your chart until mid-January, signalling an end to pushing ambitiously forward and a period of pausing to evaluate your work in the world. Finish up current projects and tie up loose ends so there are no incompletions. Look at how you organise your time to find a different perspective-one that better fits your current circumstances and mind-set.

A breathing space.

Libra Weekly Forecast: October 30-November 6, 2022

As action archetype Mars turns backwards from October 30th to January 12th 2023, it may feel as if projects close to your heart are being blocked or thwarted. Instead, frame this as chance to think about your philosophy, your beliefs and your approach to life from a bigger perspective. Journaling, dream recording, writing are all ways of directly making contact with your deeper self-the part of you that knows better than you do. Pay attention to nudges of all kinds-perhaps unexpected encounters, synchronicities or ideas out of thin air.

A long conversation with your interior angel, as poet David Whyte describes it.

Scorpio Weekly Forecast: October 30-November 6, 2022

This liminal period between eclipses in Scorpio and Taurus is deepened by your personal planet Mars turning backwards on October 30th until January 12th next year in your 8th House. Issues of long standing relationships, intimacy and shared finances are likely to come up for reflection and re-evaluation. It’s important to listen more than you speak, to establish rapport and to avoid any judgments at all. The total lunar eclipse on November 9th will bring changes to partnerships either immediately or in the next 6 months, so slow down, pay attention and stay in your Witness space.

Re-balancing the power dynamics.

Sagittarius Weekly Forecast: October 30-November 6, 2022

During the next 10 weeks of Mars retrograde, everything will slow down. If you try to push the river, you will only create more obstacles and delays. Switch out of your usual climb- the-next-mountain Yang energy into quieter, receptive Yin mode. This applies especially to your most important relationships where it’s time to review the dynamics and power plays. Is your partnership in balance or does one take whilst the other gives? Are there hidden resentments that need airing? Do you feel loved and appreciated? Don’t make judgments but notice how you could bring more love into your day-to-day interactions.

Building bridges.

Capricorn Weekly Forecast: October 30-November 6, 2022

There is an intensity to this bardo period between two eclipses made deeper on Sunday 30th by Mars turning backwards for 10 weeks. It could be a testing time unless you stop pushing forward, finish current projects and give yourself a breathing space. Make your health and wellbeing your main priority and think about how you could upgrade your diet, exercise and hydration without creating a harsh regime. Is your home conducive to real relaxation? Do you have your own private space? How could you reorganise things to make life simpler?

Finding your flow.

Aquarius Weekly Forecast: October 30-November 6, 2022

As an Aquarian, you often spend more time in your head or virtual reality than you do centred in your body. The Mars retrograde between October 30 and January 12 next year is a signal to come down out of the ethers and make time for the physical. Think back to activities, hobbies, games or pastimes you enjoyed as a child and see if there are any you could rekindle. You’re in a bardo period between two eclipses this week, perfect for slowing right down and listening to hints and nudges from your deeper self. There is nothing to do, be, practise or start-just take time for renewal and rest.

Don’t try to push the river.

Pisces Weekly Forecast: October 30-November 6, 2022

As a sensitive sign, you’re probably sensing the lull during this threshold bardo period between the eclipses. This slowing right down, going inwards Yin energy is amplified as Mars turns backwards on Sunday until mid-January next year in your 4th House of home and belonging. Use the time to fix whatever needs sorting where you live, whether it’s mending the roof or mending fences with family members. Find enjoyable ways to nourish yourself and others, to make home a true sanctuary. If you have a garden, allotment or window box, sow some seeds as hidden treasure for next year.

Belonging is a feeling, not a place.
