After multiple investigations, including those by YouTube, Cyber Security experts, and child safety organizations, no credible evidence was found that Momo challenges were real or widespread. The warnings, news stories, and alerts were based entirely on hearsay and internet hysteria.
What existed, instead, were a few isolated videos and memes created by users reacting to the myth itself, not real threats. In many ways, the panic created the very content people were afraid of. Kids curious about Momo would search for her, stumble upon creepy edits or parody videos, and the legend kept growing.
