Since Great Transformer Pluto entered futurist Aquarius on November 19th, it’s becoming more and more obvious that the centre is not holding…… that the old is no longer working……. that all our old tricks have no effect whatsoever. This applies to everything and everyone-none of us is exempt.

Making absolutely certain that we get the message that change is no longer an option, this week a 5 (!) months period of extended planetary retrogrades starts – a long season of necessary adjustment, reflection, remembering and release of what no longer works.

Hopefully, by now, we have learned that nothing ever goes away until it has taught us what we need to know……that you can hide your head in the sand or run as far away as possible, but you can’t escape reality.

Make a Note of these Retrograde Dates:

Neptune Retrograde until December 7.

Mercury Retrograde between November 25 – December 15.

Mars in a once every 2 years Retrograde between December 6 – February 23 2025.

Chiron Retrograde until December 29.

Uranus Retrograde to January 30 2025.

Jupiter Retrograde to February 4 2025.

Venus in a once every 18 months Retrograde between March 1 – April 15 2025.

Mercury Retrograde March 14 – April 6 2025.

This week at the Sagittarius New Moon, Sun conjunct Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius and Mars stationing retrograde in Leo opposite Pluto, mirror the energies by beginning your own sorting and sifting process.

Get curious, ask yourself:

What in my life has gone stale, lost its juice, its appeal, its pull, its magnetics, its energy?

Which of my usual approaches, tools, strategies, habits or beliefs no longer delivers results?

Then journal what you’re noticing without trying to analyse or change anything.

“Keeping up with things can be an all-consuming matter, because everything changes all the time. There are always fresh angles to master. And when you are coming from a very old place, it is not so easy to shake yourself loose and become the next thing asked. The karmic performer in overdrive, hustling to catch up. Frantic to cover all bases, to be everywhere. Pushing yourself to learn how to operate within a contemporary world that is alien, at a loss. But there are moments in the journey when doing whatever is called for becomes its own reward, even if the pace is grinding and the recognition sparse.“ – Inside Degrees Elias Lonsdale

Aries Weekly Forecast

2025 is going to be a year of change for you, so prepare for it now by slowing down and checking in with yourself. With a New Moon in fellow Fire sign Sagittarius, find a way to escape from your usual surroundings-even if just for a few hours-to reset your routines. Your own planet Mars turns retrograde until February-now is definitely not the time to push the river. Let things work themselves out in their own time.

Taurus Weekly Forecast

Taking care of your resources, especially those you share with someone close, will be at the top of your agenda now. The Sagittarius New Moon raises issues that are usually kept private, such as intimacy, power dynamics and finances. Get clear on your negotiables and non-negotiables and have that discussion about shared priorities.

Gemini Weekly Forecast

As Mars slows to turn backwards until February in your 3rd House, take some time to reassess alliances, friendships and group commitments. All of these require constant tending of your time, energy and personal investment. Notice who drains your spirits and demands too much from you-leave them behind and move on.

Cancer Weekly Forecast

Sunday’s New Moon in your 6th House and energy planet Mars slowing to turn backwards is a clear message to stop adding to your to-do list, down tools and post an out of the office message. No matter how much needs doing, you need a break, even if just for a day to regain your perspective on what is really important and what is just busyness.

Leo Weekly Forecast

Mars is slowing to turn retrograde in Leo until February 2025, backtracking opposite Pluto in your opposite sign. Anticipate complications in your relationships as nothing is as straightforward as it seems. Don’t try to make things happen or speed things up, it will rebound on you.

Virgo Weekly Forecast

With both your personal planet Mercury and energy planet Mars retrograde, step away from managing the universe and take a break to catch up with yourself. If you don’t do it, events will conspire to do it for you. The Sagittarian New Moon is a reminder that home is where your heart is now, so clear away the cobwebs, decorate for the season and slow down to the pace of life.

Libra Weekly Forecast

Now that Pluto has left your angle of home and family for good and moved into a part of your chart that is all about self-expression, creativity and enjoyment, the sky’s the limit. This is underlined by Sunday’s New Moon in Sagittarius, nudging you to go out and about, widen your horizons and learn something new.

Scorpio Weekly Forecast

Now that the Sun, Mercury and a New Moon are all in Sagittarius, money assumes a greater significance. It might be that time of year when you’re encouraged to splurge on gifts but with both Mercury and Mars retrograde, better to wait until after December 16th. That gives you time to rein in your outgoings.

Sagittarius Weekly Forecast

Make the most of your personal New Moon in Sagittarius on Sunday, then take a few days of retreat or down time. Mercury is retrograde in your sign until December 16th and communication delays and glitches will multiply as Mars also turns backwards on December 6th in Leo. Everything will work out eventually in its own time, so sit back and wait.

Capricorn Weekly Forecast

Hopefully, you’ve already finished your gift shopping, as Mercury is retrograde until December 16th and Mars turns backwards on December 6th. Take some quiet time out at Sunday’s Sagittarian New Moon to prepare for your birthday season – the first one in 15 years without Pluto in Capricorn. Capture any big dreams -they hold clues to the next 20 years.

Aquarius Weekly Forecast

With Pluto in your sign as a companion for the next 20 years, you’re still acclimatising to his brand of strong medicine. Find a safe physical outlet-akido, judo, running – to release bouts of anger or rage. Sunday’s New Moon in Sagittarius may nudge you to reevaluate certain friendships or alliances. Take a digital de-tox, cutting out any social media that is just a distraction.

Pisces Weekly Forecast

With Sunday’s New Moon at the pinnacle of your solar chart, the sky’s the limit. Set your imagination free and be ready to accept a new career challenge that could push you out of your comfort zone. One caveat: Mercury and Mars are both retrograde, so wait until after December 16th before signing on the dotted line.
