Sound is one of the purest forms of energy in existence. Sound inspires us, uplifts us, helps us to communicate, express ourselves, and even heal at a deep level.

Have you ever stopped to consider how amazing it is that everything around you is fundamentally composed of energy that vibrates at different frequencies? Thanks to science, we know that the denser an object is, the lower its vibration is, and the lighter something is, the higher its vibration is.

Vibration also corresponds to emotions. When we identify with emotions such as anger, hatred, jealousy, guilt, paranoia, and self-loathing, we actually lower our vibration. On the other hand, when we stop identifying with these emotions and instead see them simply as energy fluctuating within us, we begin to experience “high vibration” states such as love, peace, gratitude, creativity, and self-fulfilment.

It’s important here to remember that there’s nothing wrong with feeling any type of emotion, including uncomfortable ones. Unfortunately, many new age writers use the term “low vibration” to condemn and therefore spiritually bypass emotions such as anger or grief. Ironically, condemning these emotions actually generates more fear and resistance within the psyche, which further solidifies a “low vibrational” state of being.

While the best way to experience high vibration states such as love and bliss is to stop identifying and attaching to thoughts and emotions, there are helpful catalysts out there which help to center your energy. One of these catalysts is known as the Solfeggio Frequencies.

What are Solfeggio Frequencies?

The Solfeggio Frequencies are a series of 6 electromagnetic musical tones that the Gregorian Monks were said to use when they chanted in meditation. Rediscovered in 1974 by Dr. Joseph Puleo, the Solfeggio Frequencies are said to deeply penetrate the conscious and subconscious mind, stimulating inner healing. Dr. Puleo was intuitively led to rediscover these healing frequencies in the Book of Numbers (a book in the Hebrew Bible), using a numerological technique to decipher the six repeating codes he found. The result was the rediscovery of the Solfeggio Frequencies.

Physicist, inventor, and electrical engineer Nikola Tesla once said, “If you only knew the magnificence of the 3, 6 and 9, then you would hold a key to the universe.” Interestingly, these three numbers form the root vibration of the six Solfeggio Frequencies.

These are the Solfeggio Frequencies:

  • UT – 396 Hz – transforming grief into joy and guilt into forgiveness
  • RE – 417 Hz – clears negativity and removes subconscious blockages
  • MI – 528 Hz – stimulates love, restores equilibrium, repairs DNA
  • FA – 639 Hz – strengthens relationships, family, and community unity
  • SOL – 741 Hz – physically cleanses the body from all types of toxins
  • LA – 852 Hz – awakens intuition and helps you return to spiritual balance

Each of the syllables that describe the Solfeggio Frequencies were taken from the first stanza of the medieval hymn to St. John the Baptist:

Ut queant laxis Resonare fibris

Mira gestorum Famuli tuorum

Solve polluti Labii reatum

Sancte Iohannes

The literal translation from Latin is: “So that your servants may, with loosened voices, resound the wonders of your deeds, clean the guilt from our stained lips, O Saint John.” (Source.)

6 Powerful Solfeggio Frequencies that Raise Your Vibration

The Solfeggio Frequencies were said to be used in over 150 Gregorian chants, and are said to increasingly raise your vibration when listened to. Each Solfeggio tone helps to peel back layers of negativity and energy blockages, helping you to experience emotional and spiritual release.

Many people describe listening to these tones as calming, inspiring, cleansing, and even revelatory in that they help us to experience clarity and understanding about the problems in our lives. Others who listen to the Solfeggio Frequencies may experience headaches or even repressed emotions like anger rise to the surface in response to the mismatch of vibration. In other words, these sound healing frequencies may have a “purging” effect on your energy field, which might make you feel a bit queasy! On the other hand, you might react to these sounds extremely well, so please do listen and experiment.

1. UT – 396 Hz
Solfeggio 396 Hz | Cleanse Fear & Negative Blocks ➤ Brainwave Yoga Zen Meditation Music

The 396 Hz Solfeggio Frequency helps those who struggle with feelings such as guilt, fear, and grief. This tone is highly grounding and cleansing. I also highly recommend trying out binaural beats as a form of healing, such as this track that helps to remove anxiety.

2. RE – 417 Hz
417 Hz | Wipes out all the Negative Energy | 9 Hours

This sound frequency helps you to clear negativity and removes subconscious blockages in the form of limiting core beliefs, toxic thinking patterns, and harmful habits. The 417 Hz tone is primarily about facilitating change and connecting you back with the Divine Source. Binaural beats is another form of music therapy that can help with clearing negativity (check out this track).

3. MI – 528 Hz
528Hz – Whole Body Regeneration – Full Body Healing | Emotional & Physical Healing

The “MI” tone is often thought of as the “love frequency.” This sound vibration is also said to be central to creation and is thought to restore inner equilibrium, increase awareness, repair DNA, and stimulate transformation.

4. FA – 639 Hz
639 Hz | Attract & Manifest Love | Harmonize Relationships | Attracting Love & Positive Energy

This sound vibration increases understanding, tolerance, interpersonal harmony, and empathy. As such the “FA” tone is said to strengthen relationships, family connection, and unity with others. If you’re struggling in your work or personal relationships, this sound frequency may help you create more harmony. If you’re interested in attracting and manifesting more love, this binaural beats meditation is also a wonderful tool.

5. SOL – 741 Hz
741 Hz ◈ Solfeggio Sleep Music ◈ HELPS IN TOXIN RELEASE | Deep Sleep Meditation Music

SOL is the frequency which is said to help detox the body from all types of pollutants (viral, fungal, bacterial, electromagnetic). This sound vibration is also said to be useful when trying to solve problems as it will increase mental clarity. If you’re struggling with chronic aches and pains, you might also like to look into binaural beats, which is another form of music healing (see this track).

6. LA – 852 Hz
852 Hz – LET GO of Fear, Overthinking & Worries | Cleanse Destructive Energy | Awakening Intuition

The “LA” sound frequency awakens your intuition and helps you return to spiritual balance. This tone also helps you to see through illusions and discover the highest truth, aiding you in communicating more openly with Spirit. For more assistance in connecting with universal consciousness, check out this mind-expanding music.

Using Solfeggio Frequencies

When listening to the above Solfeggio Frequencies, it helps to pay mindful attention to your body and any emotions that arise within you. How do you feel? What thoughts or repressed urges (if any) rise to the surface? Which sounds make you feel light and which ones disturb you?

Close your eyes if it helps you to concentrate. You might also like to listen to these frequencies with headphones on for a more intense experience.

Remember that true healing and transformation is about ceasing to identify and attach to your thoughts and feelings. In this sense, Solfeggio Frequencies are excellent catalysts and facilitators of mindful and awakened consciousness.

Hate: The Ultimate Social Control Mechanism

Published

on

Orwell’s 1984

Ethan Indigo SmithGuest Writer

Many of the layers and subtleties in Orwell’s 1984, though fixed for the sake of fiction, so perfectly reflect the non-fictional world – the impulses of totalitarian institutions and the spirit of individuals – that it has become a near timeless representation. Arguably the most significant political fiction ever written, 1984 begins with the daily Two Minutes of Hate during the time period “in preparation for Hate Week.”

Orwell Knew…. Hatred Is A Control Mechanism

The more repressed a society the more hateful all within must be. In order for oligarchical collectivism to take hold – in order for the few to benefit over the many without recognition or revolution – hatred must be infused. Hatred leads to the “us and them” mentality which drives clever reasoning to convince people to kill and be killed in the name of an institutional godhead. The more repressive and evil an institution, the more hatred they will drive and instill.

During World War II, from which much of 1984 is derived, hatred was used amongst all sides so as to enable the killing of others. During World War I, both sides believed they were fighting for liberty and freedom, and believed the others were evil to enable the killing of others.

Today hatred is used just as it was in 1984 to stagnate society and keep our minds closed. Hatred results in close-mindedness and being closed to our own power.

Buddha taught compassion and became an enlightened being by meditating on it. Compassion is the opposite of hate and has the opposite effect on our body, mind, spirit and surroundings. Hatred allows us all to be tricked into not seeing the brotherhood of man. Hatred allows institutions to promote war and killing. Hatred leads to closed mindedness and closes one off to healing spiritual energy.

The reason many spiritual or energetic practices will not allow certain people to learn them is because our energy is closed, blocked off and littered with hatred, so much of it we sometimes don’t realize it’s there.

There is no way to reap the reward of spiritual energy if you are closed off and have hatred within. There is no way to begin to heal yourself and surroundings if you hold hatred for any of god’s creatures on different paths. If you have hatred and are inspired by hatred, you have been convinced like some Outer Party shmuck in 1984 to serve institutional interests.

The only way to be open to energy, the only way to be open-minded, is to be completely open to compassion and forgiveness. That does not mean to accept foolishness or violence, but accept that every one of god’s creatures is on a path of ascension, and that we were all fools at least once – perhaps many times – and are capable of being fooled at any time.

Esoterically, being open to compassion leads to open access to energy. Exoterically, being open to compassion makes it so we cannot be fooled into taking action on behalf of violent or exploitative institutions who promote hatred – as a control mechanism.

Understanding Ascension: The Geometry Of Energy

“The key to growth is the introduction of higher dimensions of consciousness into our awareness.” – Lao Tzu

After climbing through the jungle, making my way through the gruelling forest, dense and bewildering with trails, I came to a clearing on a ridge, on what I sensed must be the very top of the great mountain in the clouds. And as I made my way to the ridge top and clearing, I saw that this was not the top. I saw it was beautiful and magnificent, but it was after all only a plateau. And from the plateau above the bewildering and winding complex of trails I now stood, I could see in the distance what could only be assumed at this point to be the peak. Perhaps there was a mountain more massive behind it too.

And on the story goes…

There are so many narrative accounts as well as fictional and metaphorical stories that ring out the same truth in the same way as the above narrative. Many of us often have this experience on one level or another at one point or another, where we come to this point in our lives, in ourselves. The reason this story is so often true, metaphorically and specifically, is because that’s how it is, both aesthetically and energetically. No matter how things go, no matter the plateau or peak you reach, there are always more heights to scale, another plateau or peak above you. As soon as you think you’re on top, you’ve stopped evolving, you’ve stopped ascending. And while you may end up at quite an enjoyable and beautiful place there could be a whole series of heights just beyond you that you won’t realize — until you realize ascension is a process, not a destination.

Once you begin on this infinite and exponential journey of discovery, you might stop, but there is no turning back.

The Nature of Ascension

The Geometry of Energy is a meditation teaching of focus, clarity, connection, circulation, unity and expansion. It is also a formula for energy comprehension — through meditative understanding of points, lines, shapes and solids — and a way toward simplification of the ascension process. Through examining the four dimensions of geometry, we are able to engage individuation, understand energy, visualize the big picture, and understand its importance.

In ascension, first you find out what is your current point of view; your plateau. Understand the process of growth, and celebrate the view.

Then you ask: What am I afraid of? Why do I always do X? What do I want to change, or experience? When you know where it is you want to go, and you can visualize the next point ahead of you, then you can visualize your line to it. If the point is something simple like quitting smoking, you can then enhance your line – your approach – to your goal accordingly. If the point is something more esoteric or intangible, like becoming more intuitive, you retain and maintain that point of focus, and the lines rise up to meet you as you ascend. Then you find your higher point, your more true self.

The key is to consciously make connections with lines and directions that most resemble your true nature and the nature you wish to become. Choose the next plateau you want to rise to. Become, embody, meditate and even chant if you will, boldly and simply: “I am X…” and watch your ascension unfold before you. We have a point in focus, lines arise before us. Of course, try to make sure the direction of your lines of ascension are as unselfish as possible; you do not have to destroy the mountain on your way up to its peaks. Consider your approaches in modest and achievable terms, and great heights can be attained as you travel, step by step.

Next, emancipate your energy to be unrestricted and flow with it in a way that opens the linear (direction) and circular (pattern) formations of energy in your life. These openings allow the ‘cocooned you’ to expand and break out, and fly! Be present… get grounded… meditate on the breath… acknowledge and embrace your unique place in the cosmic order. It doesn’t matter what self-realization or self-actualization practice you engage in, but in ascension, energetic circulation and expansion must occur.

Edgar Cayce observed there are four aspects to wellness; relaxation, circulation, assimilation and elimination. These four aspects to physical wellness are also applicable to our energetic bodies. Consider the blood being of our physical bodies being illustrative of our energetic bodies. If we are physically unfit our bodies go to shit. If we don’t move, we eat a lot of crap, or we consume alcohol frequently, our blood literally coagulates and slows down. The same is true for our energetic bodies. If we don’t practice some form of meditation or meditative movement, or get involved with nature and our natural state of being, the flow of our energetic bodies coagulates too, impeding our wellbeing and journey to the next spiritual peak.

Arriving at the Next Peak

Lastly is the process of expansion; the arrival at the peak where the next new peak can be seen. The expansion process is the “breakthrough” that people speak of. It often involves the crumbling of so many outer-shells that it may seem like a breakdown, but it’s actually a breakthrough. Expand your thoughts and focus on the linear and circular openings, psychologically and spiritually, so that the openings can lead to a flooding – but cleansing – unity expansion.

Initially, being mentally and emotionally present can be confronting. The human mind is nearly always clouded by life’s desires and traumas, so when we remove ourselves from distraction and engage in the realization of our deepest consciousness, we may experience an influx of unresolved (circular) thoughts and feelings; the traumas (past) and fears (future) of life may come into our consciousness, seeking to be cleared. Don’t just sit there in a half broke cocoon, half way to being a butterfly, hampered instead of freed, like so many figuratively do. Face the darkness. We may feel that this takes us farther away from an immediate sense of peace and progress, yet we can only achieve peace in the long-term if we acknowledge and resolve the thoughts and feelings that continue to arise in our consciousness. Know that these feelings, now acknowledged, will clear over time. Allow them to pass through your consciousness as you return to the serenity of the present moment.

Each energy dimension opens you up more and more to increased ascension because of their enhanced vibrations and complexities. Each time you engage this process the more the superfluous aspects of your character fall away. The more we move energy the more our unnecessary mental and emotional ‘add-ons’ all crumble from the cocoon; all of our induced masquerades, the less-real pieces of our psychological makeup, the constructs and shells that otherwise restrict our true butterfly nature.

Breakthroughs are often painful at one stage or another, and certainly during the unity expansion process things tend to break. The more you take an active part in your own ascension process, the more likely things will break on your way to becoming. The shell of your ego must be broken too, and then slightly modified, returned to working order with a new greater perspective on life and your unique place in it.

And remember, no matter how far you go, there is certainly always further to go. No matter how your level of being changes as you ascend, there is always another higher summit to climb.

10 Ways To Raise Our Vibration

Published

on

Juliet TangContributing Writer

What is Vibration?

Vibration is our unique personal energy frequency, or energy signature. It is the state of our energy at this moment as a result of all beliefs, emotions, experiences and interactions we have accumulated. Our vibration is directly affected by both the external such as our environmental factors and lifestyle choices, as well as the internal such as our thoughts and beliefs. Hence, it is essential for us to take care of ourselves on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels to maintain high vibration.

Why Is It Important to Raise Our Vibration?

As multidimensional beings (or light beings) comprised of a physical body (which is nothing more than a solid form shaped by tightly packed energy particles) and energy bodies, the higher our vibration, the faster the particles vibrate in our energy field and the more balanced and fulfilling we find our lives to be.

All dis-ease is the result of energetic imbalance in our energy field. Feelings and actions of joy and love register on a much higher vibrational level than those of fear and anger. When we are constantly immersed in higher vibration, we automatically feel lighter, more nourished and intuitive which drastically enhances our quality of life. This is the age-old, time-proven and undeniable truth that positivity reduces stress and increases joy and life span.

In addition, the universe is a vast field of energy expressing itself in unique, individuated manifestations. Our thoughts, words and deeds are nothing but energy that cause a ripple effect in the field. The vibration of our inner experience dictates the creation of our individual realities by attracting like-energy. The universe is always matching us with people, opportunities and circumstances of similar vibration of what we give off, so the higher our vibration, the more our realities will reflect that same vibration back at us. This is the basic understanding of law of attraction.

How to Raise Our Vibration

There are many simple and practical ways to raise our vibration that can be done during any time of the day. The key is consistency. The result of incorporating these activities into our daily routines and practicing them as often as we can is much more profound and long-lasting than an occasional attempt once every two months in the hope of being able to alter the outcome of an upcoming event.

Raising Our Vibration Physically
Diet:

Eat a healthy and balanced diet. We are what we eat. Certain foods such as organic fruits and vegetables are naturally higher in frequency than processed, fried and sugary foods. Keeping ourselves well hydrated and maintaining a healthy sleep schedule all play important roles in our vibration.

Movement: When we move our bodies, we move our energy. Exercise, dance, yoga, Qigong, walks in nature, these are but a few ways for us to move our bodies. Sometimes when our creative juices dry up after having sat at our desks for hours, simply by taking a walk in the park can bring inspiration. During my Holy Fire Reiki training with William Rand, he had all of us dance around the room and chant every morning before training and everyone was instantly transformed. In fact, everyone still recalls it being one of our favourite parts of the training.

Feel Good” Acts: Anything that makes us feel good raises our vibration. Laughing, singing, hugging, getting a massage, hot baths, playing with animals and gardening, the list goes on and on. Remember, anything that brings us feelings of love and joy is high frequency! The practice of love, gratitude, forgiveness and compassion for ourselves and others goes a long way for our vibration. When we are engaged in being of service to others, on a biochemical level, a hormone called oxytocin which lowers the blood pressure is released not only in the giver, but also the receiver and those who witness the act. Perhaps this is the reason why “kindness is contagious.”

Raising Our Vibration Emotionally
Being Authentic:

We all know happiness raises vibration. However, if someone is in the midst of depression, merely by saying to the person to feel good is equivalent of telling someone to calm down when the person is highly anxious – it usually doesn’t work. I feel being honest and authentic with ourselves as well as others and allowing ourselves to actually feel rather than trying to manipulate our emotions is essential in raising vibration.

This one is a little tricky. Many of us hold the belief in order to not attract what we do not desire, we must not allow ourselves to feel emotions we deem negative such as fear, rage, depression, guilt and shame. The truth is, what we resist and repress tends to have the loudest mouths. We cannot lie to energy and force our vibration to be high when a large part of us feels angry or sad just as sweeping tons of stuff under the carpet and hoping no one notices backfires quickly.

A better strategy would be to use those emotions as barometers to identify the root causes of our unhappiness and deciding what we can do to change ourselves hence our emotional responses. This does take some time but the effects go a long way. I am an advocate of journaling and I believe “negative” emotions are here to tell us something we may have overlooked in life, so by journaling the emotions coupled with the thoughts and events that occur when we feel that way, we develop a better understanding of the language of our emotions. Over time, we will be able to choose those beliefs and events which bring us emotions we desire.

Self-Love: Loving and nurturing ourselves unconditionally works wonders for our vibration. Being selective with the company we keep is one of them. When we are in the company of those who appreciate us for who we are, all those involved feel good about themselves. Also, not too many of us pay attention to the “emotional food” we feed ourselves which includes anything we watch, listen or pay attention to that stimulates and triggers an emotional response. The reason why we slip into a funk after watching the evening news sometimes is because the mind cannot tell whether the input is real or imagined. Our vibration is literally affected by whatever we focus on and engage in. This isn’t to say that we will never follow social media or watch Game of Thrones; rather, it is all about awareness and moderation.

Raise Our Vibration Mentally

Change the Stories We Tell: Filtering the stories we tell about ourselves and the world around us is a crucial way of eliciting desirable thoughts and emotions in ourselves. If our belief patterns consist of a lot of judging, blaming and shaming, we can bet they’ll lower our vibration. The good news is, we can choose our beliefs as simply as we choose our foods. Our brain can unlearn that which is no longer in alignment and adopt beliefs that bring desirable outcomes into our lives. When we take ownership of our beliefs, we are committing to ourselves to telling only stories that serve our growth and evolution.

Switching to Positive Thoughts: Sandwiching a negative thought with two positive thoughts is a quick way to get out of the mental funk. Thoughts of gratitude usually work fastest.

For example, when I am on a crowded New York City subway during rush hour, often times if I am not careful, I start an inner monologue about the crowd, the smell, the wait, etc. When I catch myself doing it, I usually try to quickly come up with a few thoughts of gratitude either about the situation I am currently in (I’m thankful I can get to my destination) or something completely different (I’m grateful I have my health and can enjoy the outdoors). I may not always be successful and I may have to repeat the exercise every two minutes, but I know it is my vibration and my choice. No matter how much I complain about the guy who accidentally elbowed me in the head, he will go on with his day with whatever vibration he is carrying and the only person whose vibration is directly and negatively impacted by my ranting is me.

This is not a Pollyanna training and no one is saying we will never say a few unpleasant things in our heads, however, know that the unpleasant thoughts we are repeating over and over only harm ourselves and not those we complain about. Know also that once we allow ourselves to be affected by others, we are giving away our power of being able to feel good.

Raise Our Vibration Spiritually

Meditation: Among all spiritual practices that make us feel calm and loved, meditation is probably one of the most popular ways of instantly raising our vibration. It is well documented that meditation does wonders on all levels of our being. One can easily enter a meditative state by doing virtually anything such as washing dishes, appreciating a flower or painting a picture. Any time when we are losing ourselves in the present moment, we are entering a meditative state. Similarly, prayer has the same effects on our vibration.

Energy Healing: Holistic healing modalities such as Reiki, sound therapy, crystal therapy, acupuncture, herbs and aromatherapy all work directly with our energy field by opening our channels, introducing our bodies with universal life force energy and transmuting lower frequency into higher vibration. They are deeply restorative and bring about greater sense of calmness and relaxation.

Grounding, Aura and Chakra Cleansing: Grounding, aura and chakra cleansing are also great techniques to raise our vibration. They can be done by visualizing a white light entering our crown and cleansing everything as it passes through our bodies. Eventually the light carrying everything we no longer identify with is released into the ground. Additionally, one can visualize expanding the light inside of our heart center and place ourselves in a loving light beam everywhere we go so we do not take on unwanted energy from our environment.

Like everything, the more we commit ourselves to integrating these little acts into our lives, the easier and more natural they become and the more we are inclined to practice them when we reap the benefits of our effort. Making it fun and sharing it with others are great ways to keep everyone in a high vibrational bubble.
